Anaerobic Respiration is the process of producing energy without oxygen which occurs in the cytoplasm.It is a very fast process.This process produces 2 ATP for every glucose molecule it creates which is a lot less than aerobic respiration.Glucose is a 6 carbon molecule.By putting phosphates it makes it easier to break apart. Once its broken apart it makes a negative charge.what breaks it apart is NAD+.Glycolosis is the first step in aerobic respiration.It requires NAD+.The second step is Fermantation.The purpose of this is to make ATP which is whats needed to break apart Glucose.It makes Lactic acid and needs to continue to making NAD+ in order to continue glycolosis.
Glycolosis
Glucose+NAD+ +pyruvic acid+2 ATP
Equation-Glucose ----> Ethanol + Carbon Dioxide + Energy
C6H12O6 ----> 2C2H5OH + 2CO2 + Energy

The experiment was to see how many squeezes you can do in a matter of 20 seconds. You had to do this ten times and keep track of how many you did every time.Every 20 seconds you would have about a 5 second break.
My results came out to be about what is should be.Because of the lactic acid it should be right for the graph to go down.Oxygen does not go through your muscles and thats what causes you to get cramps.
I held the pin with my index finger and my thumb and the rest of my fingers pointing up. I used my dominant hand which made me get more squeezes then i would of using my non dominant hand.
One of the errors that occured was that I dropped the pin twice. On the eighth try i dropped it and got a 40 so that made my graph go way down. Then my ninth try went good and i got a better score than the eighth try.Then on the tenth try i dropped it again in and it made me go down again.
